"Love's Executioner" and Other Tales of Psychotherapy   Irvin Yalom / Paperback / Published 1 January, May be not an obvious introduction to psychotherapy.  A series of descriptions of the authors journey with some of his clients. When Nietzsche Wept/a Novel of Obsession
Irvin D. Yalom
This is a great read, and if you are new to psychotherapy and how it works... this could be a great and easy way to start your exploration, based on a mixture of real historical events and Yaloms very creative imagination!

I'm OK - You're OK and it's follow up  Staying OK Amy Harris, Thomas Harris / Paperback / Published 4 May, 1995 In some ways good very easy to read pop TA books,  on the other hand pop psychology at it's worst... TA folk will read it though.... just to say "Oh of course,  but you would be better off reading most of the other books on this list!
